Geodäsie und Geoinformation
Der Studiengang Geodäsie und Geoinformation ist ein moderner Studiengang, der naturwissenschaftlich geprägt und interdisziplinär angelegt ist. Er beschäftigt sich mit der Digitalisierung der Erde - in globalen, regionalen und lokalen Maßstäben.
Geodäten entwickeln Verfahren, die aus den Signalen eines weltumspannenden Systems von Satelliten (GPS) die Koordinaten eines Standorts auf der Erde berechnen können. Damit läßt sich zum Beispiel der Anstieg des Meeresspiegels präzise voraussagen oder Sie können von Ihrem Smartphone erfahren, wo die nächste Pizzeria ist oder wie Sie am schnellsten von hier nach Rom kommen.

Master's degree program
Geodetic Engineering
The study program is dedicated to students with a BSc in Geodesy and Geoinformation or related topics, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Geosciences, or Electrical Engineering. It is a full-time program taught entirely in English and offers three profiles, covering the main research fields of our institute, from which the students choose one area as a major and a second as a minor topic.
