Biography

Dr.-Ing. Lan Zhang joined the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformation (IGG), Astronomical, Physical and Mathematical Geodesy Group at the University of Bonn in October 2024.


  • Ph.D. (Thesis title: Gravity Satellite GRACE Mascon Production and its Applications), University of Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing, China
  • Since 12/2023: Research Associate at the Institute of Earthquake Forecasting, China Earthquake Administration.
  • 07/2021-12/2023: Research Assistant at the Institute of Earthquake Forecasting, China Earthquake Administration.
  • 09/2016-07/2021: M.Sc. & Doctoral student in Geodesy, University of Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing, China
